Quantified approach to risk analysis in case of cyber security

This bachelor thesis deals with the quantitative approach to risk analysis in the frame-work of cyber security. The first part is devoted to the theoretical level. There are defined basic terms connected with cyber security and cyberspace. The risk management process according to ISO / IEC 27005 and NIST methodology is described. Furthermore, a comparison of individual risk analysis methods is performed. Finally, examples of quantitative methods are presented and the CIA triad is presented. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to the QRA method. This method is applied to two devices and probability, impact and risk are calculated. Finally, the evaluation and comparison of both devices is performed. The benefit of this bachelor thesis is a compiled methodology, which is applicable not only for the determination of the risk itself, but it is also possible to compare individual systems, equipment or solutions among them.
Differences in company remuneration systems

This diploma thesis deals with remuneration of employees based on the size of companies. It introduces different types of remuneration, wage forms, minimum and average wages, non-monetary remuneration, benefits and trends in remuneration over the last few years. The research was divided into 3 sub-goals. The first sub-objective of the research is the identification and analysis of remuneration systems and benefits in individual companies (micro + small, medium and large companies) using a quantitative method of data collection - a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed to a total of 60 respondents, 20 questionnaires for each type of company. After a thorough analysis of all the data, the advantages and disadvantages of individual companies divided by size were outlined, and sub-goal 2 was thus fulfilled. Subsequently, suitable proposals were recommended from the "disadvantages" on how to improve or eliminate shortcomings, which led to the fulfillment of sub-goal 3.

Teaching assistant and his application in preschool

Diploma thesis "Teaching assistant and his application in preschool" discusses the profession of a teaching assistant, his work in educating not only children with special educational needs, but also children without special educational needs and his collaboration with other educators. It deals with everything that an assistant should do and it also provides a summary of opinions and practical experiences of teaching assistants. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and empirical part. Theoretical part consists of four chapters and research part consists of one chapter. The first chapter defines the concept of a teaching assistant, the second chapter points out the differences between personal assistant, assistant for socially disadvantaged and assistant for disabled. The third chapter is dedicated to the importance of a teaching assistant in inclusive education and the fourth chapter deals with cooperation between teachers and teaching assistants. The empirical part contains of the research carried out from a combination of qualitative method, which has the form of a semi-structured interviews, and quantitative method, which was done through a standardized questionnaire. Theoretical part of diploma thesis Comparative quantitative content analysis of photos from Timeline regional Facebook pages of ELLE Magazine explores the theory of visual culture, what kind of role pictures or photos play in contemporary digital age. Also Facebook online marketing and Facebook pages are described. The third chapter of thesis looks into history of global trade brand ELLE Magazine and it describes the owners of brand-license in examined regional countries. The last theoretical section explores a globalization of communication including magazine trade and the Internet. The thesis also contains research review of contemporary studies with similar topic. Methodological part firstly describes a content analysis and its aplication on research of photos. Secondly a diploma research with main reseach question: Are regional differences in thematic composition of published photos on facebook pages of ELLE magazines?
Analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel in 1961

The aim of the diploma thesis is analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel of 1961. In the quantitative method, reports are sorted by the codebook into thematic groups. There are following variables: soft x hard news; domestic x foreign news; culture x politics x economy x sport x disaster x rest. As a result of this method we can find out which news were preferred (agenda-setting) and bated (gate-keeping). In the qualitative method author is analysing foreign reports chosen by quantitative method.
